Need free software to record webcam video and sound card audio at same time

I've searched the forum, and found a link to Windows Media Encoder 9, but that doesn't seem to want to work on my PC. Everytime I start it, it crashes. I've tried several re-installs.

Could someone please point me in the direction of some free software to record my webcam and the sound from my soundcard at the same time. The software that came with my webcam doesn't seem to be able to do it, and there also doesn't seem to be a way to configure it to do so either...

I can think of plenty of NON-free ones.

lol do waht i used to do, dl a bittorrent client and dl some "free" programs. eventually the guilt will get to you and youll crack though, its what i did. (only dled games really)

edit: actually i dont reccomend this. its pretty unfair to the developers.
