I have a chance to get a great looking and playing Charvel CSM 1G but i don`t know anything about it. Could someone please give me all the info on this model as to where its made and body woods (specs) ect....Thank you!!!

Sorry, ive never seen that model before..... and never seen that headstock on a charvel.
Nice looking guitar though!
Im sure someone here will have the lowdown on it.

So far i found out that this model was made in Japan which i should have known because the quality is excellent and the body wood is either Alder or Basswood! I am going to pick this guitar up today just based on those two findings,plus its just a great guitar for low $!!!!!!!!

Well i got the guitar today and it is awesome!!!!! If anyone could shed some light on the history of this model i would still appreciate it but either way,killer axe!!!!

This is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can`t find out any info on this guitar! The people over at the Jackson/Charvel forum don`t even know anything about this guitar except one person that has one,but he doesn`t know anything about it either other then its a great guitar!!!! This has never happened to me.........maybe its a rare model or something?

Try the Jackson/Charvel forum, jcfonline.com. Lots of info about all the various Jacksons and Charvels, USA or import, including Japan made or Japan only models.
Surprised no one has already posted that you try them.

I used to work at a music store when these guitars first came out 91/92..they are very limited production..made in Japan .. They originally sold for around $400-$500 .. I was fortunate enough to buy one and have had it for over 20 years now.. its still plays great sounds great, I have never had tuning problem ect with it..I even use it for studio work.. the pickups are Jackson J-80C in the Neck and J-90 C in Bridge These are both High output distortion class pick-ups and are still working great today in mine.According to the original paper I have the body is suppose to be swamp ash.(I think this is a typo ..the wood looks and feels a lot like basswood) So if you get a chance to buy one of these guitars do it.. and remember price does not make a better guitar.. I've seen Just as many high end (high priced) guitars come into to the shop where I work as I have the Lower Costing Guitars.. Hope this helped..
