Need Help Finding a 3-way toggle switch

Ideally needs to be a right angled or L-shaped one, but ideally with the threaded mounting part longer than 3/8ths, ideally 1/2" or so.

The genuine Switchcraft I have isn't nearly long enough in that department.

Shorter in the horizontal part would help too, but not vital.

To go in my SGV.

Ideas anyone?

did you check mouser? the have tons of stuff that can be hard to find elsewhere. not the easiest website to navigate though

You can get a longer ring for Switchcrafts. Switches don't come with longer threaded rings, it's an add-on.

^ Yes, I've got the longer rings already, but they weren't long enough. I've ordered one of the straight short body switches, which comes with about 9mm of thread, and routed a 1/16th out of the control cavity - still about 9/32nds thickness left in the wood, so I should be okay. I'm going to have to chop the ground lug off the switch to make it fit though, no big deal not having a grounded switch, I expect.

Even without the lug you can still solder a ground wire to the switch. It's a good idea to ground everything.

Agreed. Although a 1 volt shock won't do much, I'll put a ground in somehow.
