need help finding pickup wiring schematic

I have a dean cadilac I tried installing a duncan dimebucker in the bridge but things arent working out too good. it has 2 volume 2 tones controls like a les paul. I want ot get rid of the 2 tone pots and just have 2 volume but cant find any diagrams. I'm not sure if i posted this in the right place or not. i have a 59 neck but the lead it too short if i cant find some way to make it work i'll just use the stock neck which is single conductor. Any info or diagrams would help me out alot.

If you don't want to use tone controls, just don't connect them. It doesn't change anything else in the wiring.

And, you can just add a piece of wire to the two shield and center conductor of your 59 to lengthen it. It won't hurt anything to have a short length of non-shielded wire.
