need help from some pickup experts

i pulled this out of a axis super sport and i found out that its a Gibson pickup but i dont know how to tell what model...any help would be great:thanks:

We might be able to help you, but, you would need to take a DC resistance reading on it, and give us the ohms.
From that, some one might be able to figure out what you have.
Just looking at one w/o any markings is anyone's guess.

I reckon that is a DiMarzio. The triangular elevator tabs, the big patent number stamp, the colour of the creme bobbin and the absence of a square hole in the bobbin top all say NOT GIBSON.

EDIT: For what it is worth, although the patent number 2,737,842 was registered to Gibson, it is no sure fire identifier of a Gibson pickup. Famously, the number is correctly attributed to the floating tailpiece design of the earliest Les Paul guitars. More Ted McCarty trickery! You've gotta love the guy. :D

Dimarzio's were what the Axis SS came with.
