need help identifying a 1950's Gibson acoustic.

Top and neck look to be in pretty good condition. It has a break at the bottom of the body and the back has been opened with several braces removed. Looks intact, but the wife's niece had someone mess with it, luckily it looks fixable. It will need a neck reset and the back repaired, along with the binding on the back replaced at the least.
Spruce top mahogany neck and body, Rosewood board and Bridge. Frets are in good shape but very small neck is straight and the soundboard and top bracing are all intact. Strings are loosened so can tell if the bridge is raised or not. It has been in a storage room for years but appears to be surprisingly intact other than the disassembly and small break by the strap pin. The inside number on the neck block is Z1997 29.
Should make a great player, but what is it worth? I'm the only player in the family, so--.

My guess would be a 1952 J-45 based on the ink stamped FON (factory order number) and the neither belly up or down adjustable bridge. I don't think they ever used those on the J-50s but I could be wrong.

It's too small to be a J 45 for sure. Smaller than a dreadnought but larger than most parlor guitars.

You may have nailed it. Looks very close to the photos. What year did the LG 1 come out?

GIBSON LG-1 for sale - Price and Used Value - Info here from what I could find. Says it was made from '47-68.
The body shape looked a little off for the LG-1 but it could be the pics. If it is a '52 from the FON then I think the pickguard would be the wrong shape but honestly who knows with guitars this old.
I think it may be an LG-3. Everything fits for that one. The were made from 42-63 according to GIBSON LG-3 for sale - Price and Used Value

It's an LG 1 as it's dead on, some I have found on eBay for sale.
