NEED HELP - List of Pedals to acquire via trade

I put my Line 6 G30 Wireless up for sale/trade on CL....

Got some offers from a fellow musician I sold a few things to already. He has a few pedals he's looking to trade. Here's what he has to offer.

Zvex Box of Rock
Fulltone OCD V4
Boss PS-6 Harmonist
Digitech Jamman Solo Looper
Boss LS-2 Line Selector
Boss Ch-1 CHorus
Morley Bad Horsie 2 Wah
Vox Satchurator
Vox ICe 9 Overdrive
Proco Rat - mid 90s

and a few others that I have no interest in.

What would be a fair offer? Don't want to lowball the guy or anything. I've done business with him quite often. I'm looking to get $200 for my wireless, so what would equal $200 tradewise?

What can you tell me about those and how will the react with my VHT?

Anyone have any experience with any of these?

I'm thinking about the OCD how is it as a clean boost>?

Would BOX of Rock and OCD equal to $200 trade value?

I'd probably grab that Box of Rock for sure. And maybe the line selector, if you had a use for it.

Zvex Box of Rock: YES YES YES YES YES YES. THIS IS AN AMAZING OVERDRIVE PEDAL.




Fulltone OCD V4: Fulltones are kind of "meh" to me. then again, that's me.



Boss PS-6 Harmonist: very cool pedal, kind of like a boss whammy. my bassist has one.

Digitech Jamman Solo Looper: a friend owns one. it doesnt work anymore.


Boss LS-2 Line Selector: if you have a stereo pedal, this isnt really worth it unless you have a VERY SPECIFIC use for it


Boss Ch-1 CHorus: unless it's a much older model, hell no.


Morley Bad Horsie 2 Wah: no. it's weird, i dont like MODERN wah tones. what the hell is a modern wah anyway? isnt the wah an old school pedal? think about it. it's like putting a 10 speaker sound system with a subwoofer in a 69 camaro. you dont do that.


Vox Satchurator: a friend has one, his brother told me it sounds weird through his vox tube amp.

Vox ICe 9 Overdrive: dont know what this is... maybe that's a sign?


Proco Rat - mid 90s : are you forming some sort of young hip alternative rock band? if no, then pass.

Can the line selector be used to switch efx pedals on and off? Say I have delay and chorus on loop a and my lead on loop b?

I use the OCD as a boost. It sounded better than the zvex pedals made to be boost.

I've not used one, but that's the idea.

this gives me an idea.

another option: trade for the more expensive pedals, SELL, and get what you want and cash back.

If it's between one or the other, which one is a better boost option? Which one is a better crunch over a clean vht setting?

The OCD. It seems like you want a boost, but I can't help but drive this point home: The zvex box of rock is an AMAZING overdrive pedal. it sounds so amp like, it's lihe having a marshall in a box.

The boost side of the Box of Rock is wonderful. Never played an OCD, but they seem to be two different things. The SHO is more of a clean boost. And then there's the Distortron side.

the Box of Rock is good crunch and a dedicated clean boost...two stomps...one box...good for adding crunch and adding volume for a solo.

then the OCD can add more actual gain to the front of the BoR for saturation like crazy.

Bad horseys are cool too...definitley worth working with one for a while. Morleys get a lot of hate on the net from the boutique snobs (im not talking about you astro!) but they are a reliable, good sounding, hardworking solution for the gigging musician.
