Need Help Pricing My Mesa Boogie

I'm thinking of downsizing to an Atomic Reactor 112 and PodXTL setup so I might be selling my halfstack.

It's a Series 1 (No Bias Switching) Mesa Single Rectifier Head with the Metal Faceplate. I don't have the footswitch, manual, warrantee, or original power cable. But I have a replacement Hosa 8ft Power Cable, and can Print Out the Manual if needed from the Mesa Site.

Cosmetically it's in good condition. I haven't inspected it closely but there aren't any tears or anything as far as I know.

I am the 2nd owner, and I changed the tubes to Electro-Harmonix 6l6's recently (Couple Months Ago). Lately it has only been used for practice in my drummer's basement.

Based on this Info what do you guys think I can get for it? I've searched ebay but they are all Series 2 versions. One is at 570 with 6 Days Left with the Footswitch and Everything.

Thanks in Advance for the Help!

I'd rethink that one for a while. My experience with digital modeling is that you will grow tired of it and wanna go back to your tube amp eventually. Just visit the line6 forums and read about all the frustration people have with these things and then visit the boogie boards and see how few people there are complaining about things missing from their tone. I have played live with both. While the digital modeling seems great at first, wait till you use it live for a while..... You will end up spending 80 percent of your time tweeking and 20 percent playing once you learn how to tweek the thing. The only way I would ever go back to that live would be just with maybe one dirty amp model and one clean amp model or if my Mark IV broke down before a gig.

Yeah I was gonna say...

That's a BIG step down (and I'm not evven a Boogie guy). Think seriously - perhaps a more useable tube amp is the way to go.

Re: Need Help Pricing My Mesa Boogie

For that?! It's worth practically nothing. No one will want that!

But tell you what, I'll take it off your hands...hell, I'll even pay for shipping!

Based on my personal experience, I respectfully disagree. I haven't had that "grow tired of it" experience. I own both a Single Rec and a Vox Valvetronix, and I play both of them. One does what the other can't. I probably spend more time tweaking the Single Rec, but I could just as easily either spend tons of time tweaking both or spending tons of time just playing through them.

NO prob. I suppose it works for some people. I have seen PODs pop up in some of the most unlikely places, but I just have to say my previous post only scratched the surface of all the problems I had using digital modeling in a live situation.
