Need help w/ Wiring: Volume knob doesn't mute the pickups 100%

I'm having a problem with my guitar wiring, I just installed all new electronics and the Volume knob doesn't mute the pickups 100% when turned all the way off/down. Any suggestions on what I could do to fix that?:help:

What's the configuration of pickups/electronics? Any pictures of the wiring that you did?

Just the standard for an LP copy, two hum-buckers 3 way switch two tone knobs and two volume knobs. http://www.seymourduncan.com/pdfs/support/schematics/2h_2v_2t_3w.pdf

Make sure your switch configuration is right, and that you don't have any odd contact points. If it's wired exactly like that, it obviously shouldn't do that.

Most likely explanation is a wiring error in the grounding path.

Could be that you have connected up to the wrong terminals on the volume pot. Could be that you have forgotten to ground leg 3 of the volume pot to the chassis. Could be untidy cable ends through the pot leg eyelets making contact with something that they should not.
