Got this pup off of the bay, Reads 8.42 and looks like it was on a bass?

Probably a Rickenbacker neck pickup for a 4001 style bass.

Thanks, Thats the line that I was thinking along.Will be putting it in the neck position on my Firebird along with an early zebra Pearly Gates
