What kind of 3 way pick up selector switch I've to use for Blackouts active pickup???? Is it on/off/on dpdt switch or on/on/on dpdt switch?
Need your suggession.

Wait, Blackouts require DPDT? A standard Gibson-style 3-way won't work?

Well, a DPDT switch is generally used for more complex switching, hence it is available in On/Off/On or On/On/On configurations. If you wish to use it for Bridge,Bridge+Neck,Neck like a Les Paul, then you have to wire it to do that.

A standard Gibson-style Switchcraft 3-way Les Paul type pickup selector toggle switch is already set up so that the middle position is Bridge+Neck.

The switching contacts of DPDTs are also usually encased in a plastic housing, whereas the standard Les Paul toggle is an open-frame.
