Need Input on Valeton GP200!

Valeton GP200 with pedal, need recommendations from the forum. I have a Kemper Stage and HR Prime along with a Digitech RP360XP as my small backup. Should I upgrade my small unit to GP200. Both have drum beats and expression pedal. How are GP200 tones? I've heard they lean thinner, but not necessarily bad in any way, many great reviews. Thoughts?

I've got the GP200LT (no expression pedal, fewer controls, same tones and software); it's hooked up to M-Audio monitors for 'bedroom' level playing.

The Good:
Great tones. The Friedman is absolutely killer. Doubt it compares to a Kemper, but it hangs with my Egnater tube amp.
Software is pretty flexible, although not quite as intuitive as it could be.
Seems sturdy and well-built; no issues after a year of use.
Valeton's CS is actually really helpful (see below)

The Not-So-Good:
The software refuses to act as an audio interface on three different computers I've tried. Valeton CS (very responsive, as mentioned) couldn't get it working either. Since that's the main thing I bought it for, pretty disappointed.
Tweaking the unit with only the controls is tedious, complicated and just straight-up annoying. Maybe with the non-LT version it's better?
The drum beats are, to me at least, useless. They're also at such a low level that getting a balance between guitar level and drums is difficult.

Would I buy it again?
I really doubt it. I enjoy the sounds I get from it, but not acting as an interface really limits it's usefulness to me. Also, there have been myriad units that have come out in the last year that probably sound just as good but are easier to tweak tones on.

HTH,

Larry
