Need pickup help!

I'm new to this forum.

I recently purchased a Washburn IDOL W124. Not a high price guitar, but I believe good value for the money. Comes with factory standard Humbuckers. I would like to enhance the overall sound quality and add some sustain if possible. The guitar has a Basswood body I believe, rosewood fingerboard, and maple neck.

Not a Les Paul by any standard of the imagination but I would like to get as close as I can to a SG or Les Paul sound by changing pickups. I play classic Rock-Hard Rock, mostly Rhythm with the occassional blues-rock type lead. I'm looking for some good crunch but with a nice warm sound, not overly bassy or too much mid-range though.

Any suggestions would be welcome. Perhaps someone is familiar with Washburn guitars. I know they use Seymour Duncans in some of their higher end IDOL models

Thanks

crunchy and warm thats not overly bassy and doesnt have too much mids?
id say the pearly gates would work well except for that mids thing. its crunchy and warm, isnt overly bassy but it does have a good helping of mids.
the custom is a great hard rock rhythm pup as well, good crunch with a thick but not overly middy tone and tight bottom, not overly bright but punchy
