Need quick info : distance between 2 HBs in a GIBSON LP

Folks,

Im buying a pickguard for my LP, and being an import from japan, I need to know if a Gibson LP pickguard will fit.

I need the exact measurement of the space between both pickups (hb's) in your GIBSON LP (epi dont work!)

6 cm on both my Classic & Standard

I make it 6 cm from one pickup ring to the other. Or 2 3/8 inches.

That's also on my Classic and Standard.

Isn't the internet strange? Darrin in North Carolina and Simon in southern England have just both been measuring the gaps between their Les Paul pickups at the request of Thames in Quebec.

Seems like the gap between S. England & N.C. is closer than Gibbys. :dance:

Did you notice Simon, I gave the mesurement in metric, being Thames is a Canuck. Not bad for a Pollock from redneck country, huh. :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :burnout:
