Need recommendations for a six string Baritone

I would prefer a humbucker set up but everything else i'm open to. Options i've looked at were building one from Warmoth or Mike Mushok model from PRS. (the guitar player for staind "Not Arron Lewis")

ESP/LTD had a few models. FB-200 was a 27" bolt on model, and the George Lynch F Series Baritone was a neck through version.

The FB-200 was dual humbuckers, the GL had a Duncan at the bridge and a Duncan Designed single coil sized humbucker at the neck.

that's a trip. the George Lynch model was the first one I thought of.

I had the Mushok PRS for a couple years. It's a really good one IMO. Nice and light, stable, pretty good pickups. I recommend it.

Re: Need recommendations for a six string Baritone

reverend has started making a baratone that has dual humbuckers, and the cool think is they are close to normal scale so its not a huge change going from a regular guitar. the scale length is 26 3/4". they have 2 models one with p90s and one with the reverend railhammer humbucker pickups. they both have bolt on necks.

Re: Need recommendations for a six string Baritone

Find a baritone Shecter Blackjack. I got one for a steal and it came standard with a a JB/59 set wired to a five way to split the pickups in positions 2 and 4. Killer tone.

Re: Need recommendations for a six string Baritone

I just got an LTD MHB-400. Standard Strat-shaped body, neck through. Since I like maple fretboards and bolt-on necks I'll be putting it up for sale soon enough. ;)

Re: Need recommendations for a six string Baritone

I had a Yamaha RGT Drop 6 way back when. It's short as far as baritone scales go (26.5"?), but I had it as low as F# and it played and sounded great.

Another nod to the schecters. They are solid, inexpensive, and they sound great.

but then there is this.... http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guit...lying-v-electric-guitar?rNtt=baritone&index=8
