Need some feedback

Ok, I took a shot at replacing a filler song on our new album with something a little less filler but not incredible if you know what I mean. The bass isn't there yet and it'll make the song as far as flow so keep that in mind. A few not so tight areas but hey, that's a demo for you.

I think that the guitar tone on the main Tesla-ish riff is too thin, too pretty...needs to be grittier--think: Master of Puppets.

I guess that's just the way I would like to hear that song, but might not be what you were going for.

Good tune though. The faster parts were tight and well thought out. Time changes were a bit cludgy, but not bad.

Thanks for sharing. I hope to hear it when it's finished, and has vocals.

Agreed with the pretty tone at the main riff. Problem is it's single notes and it's quite hard thicken it up and it's already 4 dubbs. A challenge I'll love to deal with Funny you say the fast parts were tight, they were a witch to play!

i like it a lot man. i think the tone on the fast part is perfect whereas i agree that it could be fattened up a little on the main riff part. if you have a rat or something similar you could try adding that in on top of what you already use with the gain turned down but crank the filter a little bit and you should get some nice gritty bite. If it sounds like too much, then you can always only have that on one or two of the dubs.

i only suggest the rat because i recently picked one up and am loving it, lol. its a really really versatile pedal.

Ok I redid it to fix said issues and added bass. How is it now? It's the Queensry...who? song.
