Re: Need some help! Double coil split
PRS uses linkages like this on their rotary switch models. To have the inner coils be humcancelling you want to flip the magnet around on one of the pickups and reverse the wires. PRS also offers the option of linking the coils in parallel and in series. (Parallel linkage is lighter, like both pickups on a tele; series linkage is heavier, like a humbucker.)
Looking at the switch in your guitar, if the screw spacing is the same as a Fender tele or strat you might want to use a new switch. Since you did mention INNER coils you might want to consider the P style Megaswitch which will give you the 5 PRS rotary switch linkage (available from Stew-Mac ):

EDIT: Oops! I didn't realize this thread was so old with 5 pages of posts which I didn't read so I guess my post might not be very relevant. My bad!

i have a 3 way pickup selector, when its in position 1, i want it to activate the neck pickup, when in posiiton 3 it activates the bridge pickup, but in position 2 (central) I want it to activate only the INNER coils of each pickup which is effectively coil splitting but with both pickups at the same time.
