Need some help finding a cheapy

Hey guys, I'm just coming back from a long hiatus of guitar playing (which was mostly started due to my Squier becoming more and more unfixable)

I need to find a guitar under 300 dollars that maybe won't sound incredible, but will be reliable.

I've been looking at the cheap strat copies like the Xaviere guitars and also the Vintage brand V6. I've read a lot of good and bad things about both, they would just be a nuisance to get to Australia.

I also don't mind buying used, and the minimum requirement is probably just a traditional trem bridge but something that won't fall apart also :)

This might fit the bill.

Check out the Yamaha Pacifica. The PAC112 is a really good guitar for the money. If you can find and afford a higher end model (like a 412v and upwards) on the used market, definitely give it a try. Stock pickups sound really good. Not as good as Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio, etc, but way above average.
