Need some help with fender jagur wiring!

Hi,

I'm going to be installing a humbucker into a friends jag that he's had routed out to take a bridge humbucker. It's a 'standard' fender Single coil/Single Coil jag to my knowledge...

in lamens terms it looks identical to this in terms of switches etc:

I'll be buying a JB for him used off eBay or off here hopefully...but I'm not sure how I'd wire a 4 conductor wire JB into a jag that had a single coil to begin with?

I've only ever wired a 4 conductor humbucker into my strat and that was wired split...

If I'm following a standard Jaguar wiring digram...what will I need to change in order to allow for the 4 conductor JB in the bridge?

Thanks

Hi,

Okay thanks, for future reference, how would I work this out?

I'd like to be able to know why I'm soldering the red and white together and treating the bare/green as ground and the black as hot :)

Thanks so much for the help :D
