Need tips on how to tame high pitch sqeal

I'm using the Screamin Demon...Marshall JMP-1 and 100 watt tube power amp...at low levels all is fine, as soon as I get to stage volume, I get that anoying Microphonic High pitch sqeal..I use lots of gain, but this is the sound I like...is there a pickup that will sound good at high volume and won't sqeal ..I tried the Custom 5, and Duncan Distortion to no avail..I love the sound of the Demon, but unless I'm constantly on top of my volume knob, sqeal comes as soon as I turn up...am I alone with this problem?

could be a tube in the amp if many different pups have squealed. all those pups are wax potted so there is a good chance that its not the pups

If you are playing with high-gaiin, and you are playing loud, this is a very common issue---especially if you are standing anywhere near your amp. Most likely, the cause is the pickup vibrating in the guitar. We wax pot most of our humbuckers to help keep the squeal to a minimum, but enough gain/volume will wreak havoc on any set-up. Suggestions:

1. Get a little farther away from your amp (or off axis from the speakers).
2. Get used to turning the volume on your guitar down whenever you are not playing (or use a volume pedal if that is easier).
3. Put some foam under the pickup in the pickup slot to act as sort of a shock-absorber---this won't completely solve the problem, but may make it just enough better.

Or better. Buy a Noise Gate/Supressor. Does the job really well in my experience at any volume.

I think the Seymour guy has it right...I've got lots of foam under the pickup...tubes are almost new...the problem is I play night clubs...I'm at the most 3 to 4 feet away from my 2 4x12 cabs all the time...my effect unit (alesis) has a noise gate and I keep it on auto...all this helps but is there anything I can do???like I said, as soon as I get the tone right, it's at the sqeal point....

to add...we play kick butt hard rock..so feedback is obvious to my sound..what I do is place my finger on the guitar's volume knob, and at the count of 4, turn up and go...once I'm kranking, squeel is not there...if I palm mute or just leave the volume up without playing....squeal city
It would be more relaxing not to have to concern myself with this while we are working...if you get my drift...
