need wiring guru help....

I hope some of the guru's here can help me.....
I have a guitar with 2 single coils, 2 volume, 2 tone, and a lp style 3way..
Is it possible to wire it so when it is in the middle position, one of the control knobs can be a "pan" control? and still have a volume control?
I am open to other possible configurations, perhaps only having 1 volume and 2 tones, etc....
Can this be done with the current pots and switch or would a push/pull be needed for one of the pots?
I have tried diagraming several possibilities, but keep running into problems with the scheme.....any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hey Gear. This is going to be right on the edge of impossible to do with the controls you have. Maybe even over the edge. But never say never. Let me chew on this for a bit. You'd certainly need to change a few of those switches/pots, but we might come close and still keep it stock looking.

First post here:

I'm wanting to do this to a gretsch, and am excited to see what you guys come up with. To have a master volume, 2 tones, and a blend that affects only the middle position of the 3-way. ArtieToo, I look forward to learning from you.

With the standard pots, the answers is no.

Blend pots usually require two stacked resistance tracks to achieve the cross fading effect.

If you want the same pot to perform both functions, dependent on the push/pull status of the pot, there is a German manufacturer that makes some very expensive stacked and switchable pots that will do the job. (I'll have to look up the brand name in Bass Player magazine. Artie probably already knows the ones!)

Here is what i think the schematic would look like, but I'm not a wiring guru. does this look like it will work? obviously the pickups would have to be grounded as well.
