I have a blue elite Strat, I dont play singles a lot, for cleans, that guitar sounds killer to me. Beautiful guitar, I got a good deal on it. Maple on the neck is incredible, the neck is awesome, frets may not be stainless but I will be dead before there's grooves in them. I dont get why people bash on Fender for trying something upscale. They make great guitars in every price range as I see it
