New 26.5" 7-string neck-through project

Hello,
a friend of mine offered to make a guitar with the above specs for me, for free, but I'd have to provide materials and the template(s).
So the question is, is there any source I could get a template for 26.5" 7-string neck-through ?

The way I imagine the final product :

- 7 string, RG or (RGA or RGD) shaped
- 26.5" neck-trough, 5-piece maple/wenge (or equivalent) neck with titanium rods, double-action truss rod, very thin neck RG-type
- Ash body or alder
- Floyd Rose (or equivalent)
- white body (parchment, cream-like)
- maple fretboard
- chrome hardware

Maybe/hopefully Chaoz will chime in.

Sounds promising,looking forward to it!

I would design the templates myself and get them laser cut from mdf

Well that seems like a silly question coming from a 750xl owner.:cool2:

I love the look of the neck through heel.
Maybe misreading you here, but 750 doesn't have neck-through.

No templates that I know of for exactly what you want, there are RG style templates available and fret2find for the fretboard layout
Here are a copuple of neck thru builds I have done - step by step pics might be of some value?

Why does everyone want neck thru?

Thanx a lot. Neck through gives stability, and nice upper fret access. Also I have found that it retains the same tonal characteristics across the neck, whereas e.g. in bolt-ons, body wood becomes more relevant as one goes higher on the frets.

Charvel 750XL is neck thru,
Kramersteen mine is a 650XL, I would love a 750 too one day

I think i got confused with a schecter model which was the same. Its the heel which makes you think its neck through. It's actually more of a top glued in tenon join set-in. Not really like a traditional gibson set neck that's for sure. Either way i love them.
