Kinda bugs me that the tailpiece looks chrome when I wanted nickel...

I'll have the top refinished to match the back. And I'm keeping the original mini hums instead of putting PG13s

My luthier managed to scrape off the paint while keeping the original tobacco burst...

It's now gone from a refinishing and set up project to a restoration. Makes me very happy \m/

For reference, this was the top when I got it. Previous owner didn't even bother to do the repainting properly and just used a paint brush! It's not clear in the picture, but he used a paint brush! Including the bridge and stop tail too!
