Just "polished" it with Gibson restorative finish cream

Just a recap:

My luthier was able to "scrape off" the black paint and "preserve" the original finish. He put a light spray of nitrocellulose lacquer on the top.

I used Gibson's restorative finish cream to make it look shiny.

I will do a more thorough "polish" once I change strings.

I'm quite happy

That's a unique grain pattern. I like it. I always like to see a natural wood grain even if it's not super figured. It just looks classic.

It's got lots of mineral streaks/spots. It's my 1st 3pc top.

I'm probably going to raise the tailpiece a little bit. String tension is greater than my other Les Pauls. I feel like I'm using 10s even if it's stringed with 9s
