i'm trying to improve upon not only my playing and phrasing and tone. but my producing abilities as well. tell me what you think about any of those


rythm track: strat with p90 neck -> fuzz ->delay ->bandmaster -> marshall cab,


lead -> everything above without the delay...still in the effect line, just not on


i found that since the delay has a buffer...it really worked well for takin a lot of that nasty high end out.

Cool ideas. You might want to work to a click or drum track to get tighter production.

well....the fuzz is kind of fitting to the style. IMO...it was meant to be very...idk choatic

I could play you stuff i did over 30 years ago, that's just like that stuff.I used to use about 3 solo lines all together[and fuzz] I slowly moved away from it.

It was just a suggestion!
You're not onto anything new though!
The only difference is,it's your interpretation of noises people having been using way longer than you've been around."New to you".

PS;when are you getting that backing track together?

They might if you produce one.I will have a listen if you do and maybe a shot at a line. You suggested a less rock,more jazz orientated one
,which i could go for easier than the other one.I'm interested to have a shot at the other one too! I just haven't really got round to it yet.I'm trouble shooting my amp at the mo!I've got a few weird noises and behavior in it ,since i upgraded some valve sockets and a few other bits.

that's not ambient enough. Soak it in twice as much reverb, add MORE repeats, and a pinch of lengthier drones. Take two albums of Stars of the Lid or Godspeed You Black Emperor! and PM me in the morning.
