I feel the need to share this now.
It is a bit of a ''pre-mature'' NAD announcement, but i am really excited about this.
Some might remember hat i've been hunting for a Marshall Vintage Modern for a year or two already.
The so called, ''Best Marshall in modern times'' got discontinued a year or so ago, and all of a sudden you can not get one (over here) to save your life.
Well, last night a guy advertised one on your version of Craigslist. This is not just any guy.
It is our premier, very well known Custom Guitar Builder / Luthier.
He has a 50W head he want to get rid off.
He is building full time, and has hardly any time to play.
Turns out, he bought the amp a year or so ago, and never touched it.
Thats right . . . a 2 year old amp, unplayed.
And what makes my story exciting (for me at least) is that with the current exchange rate, i am paying the grand total of $468.75 USD, for a BRAND NEW, Marshall Vintage Modern 50W head (in Purple tolex) :headbang:
Depositing the money into his account tomorrow.
Might have the amp as soon as Tuesday/Wednesday. (hence the ''pre-mature'' statement)
