Awesome. You've got some really killer stuff now, with the new amp, McCarty, and PGS ltd edition strat, which is probably the strat with the best specs ever.

The reason I don't is because I've seen Jumpmarine sell quality gear at the drop of a hat, to make sure he's got his real life family expenses covered.
I've seen him make gear sacrifices, then come back buying amazing purchases.

That kind of thing demands respect, because the gear game is a game, and he's played a lot of hands really well.

been there myself and occasion or two...good things come to those who wait and are patient and who work hard.

When you buy from Pro Guitar Shop, are you doing it online, or are you close enough to their physical location to shop there? I don't know anything about PGS, but I just realized their store is in Portland Oregon. I'm glad to know that, because I'm due for a visit to Portland/Vancouver.

Joe, I've done both. With the strat i went to the old store just outside of Portland and played several before taking mine home. The amp, I just ordered online from them yesterday at lunch and it'll be here within the hour today. I am about 2 1/2 hours from Portland so i would have to take a whole day off to go down. Now let me tell you the new store(down town Portland) is well worth the drive. Everyone is very knowledgeable, super friendly and not pushy at all with a sale. And everything that is listed on the website is out and available to play with. You really owe it to yourself to drop in there if you come north. And you never know who might be in there when you go. The owner of Two Rock was there the last time I was in.

It's got plenty of headroom for some beautiful cleans, but it will breakup nicely when cranking it up. The plus is that I can drop it down to 13 watts(which is still freaking loud) and get some power tube distortion on those KT66's.
