funnily enough, I'd recommend playing in different styles to see if the badcat works. I mean, the badcat shouldn't be expected to cover the ground that the QR, SLO and slash amps cover. However, if you pretty much only play styles that call for modern high gain amps, then perhaps the badcat isn't for you.
try the badcat with each of your guitars whilst playing in the same style and keeping the settings the same- amps are fickle creatures
