NEW AWESOME YAMAHA DAY!!!!

Since I sold my very first guitar, which was a Korean Epi LP Standard, way back in 2005, I hadn't owned a LP since, until recently.
Got the Studio Lord SL400s circa 1980 for around USD350, in great shape as you can see. She has a rather vintage sound, think Led Zeppelin's Albert Hall, which means not that nasal sounding like what you expect from a Gibby, to may ears anyway. She has her own mojo going, and being bolt on doesn't take away the sustain!!!
Finally I could get myself a quality Les Paul after all these years!!!
The Les Paul was my very first guitar and I had that for 6 years, which means that particular sound and feel is already ingrained in my soul.
Now I am at peace!!!!
Pictures below, my other guitar in the last pic is a 1985 Yamaha SG200.

Re: NEW AWESOME YAMAHA DAY!!!!

Congrats. Two VERY nice looking guitars.

Thanks. I have to say that this guitar is extremely solid, even though it is a lower end model of Studio Lord line.
She is every bit as good as the 90's Japanese Epiphone and Orville I tried before, both Standard models.
Imagine the upper Studio Lord and most Lord Player models......must be at custom shop level of goodness!!!
