New Axe

LTD Snakebyte. Got it last week, wasnt sure if i'd keep it or not. After playing some riffs off Among The Living, and Persistence of Time, it won me over.

And THERE IS a Difference between the het set and the 81/60 as we know them. Much more dynamic if you ask me.

Came with the case too. Best part was, it was a gift.

Re: New Axe

I like it. I didn't like the EX body style ESP had to use after Gibson threatened them with a lawsuit, this version IMO looks better than a Gibson

Re: New Axe

thanks cats, with each passing day im growing to dig it more and more, especially the Het Set. they are very different than what im used to (BO's)

I think for that money, the Snakebyte is one of the best priced LTD's.

I'll Def agree to that. i was surprised when i found it had a bone nut.

whats funny is i wasnt sure how i felt when i first saw the snakebyte (a tad strange, but a tad cool), as time passed i became more and more intrigued, having owned two gibson explorers way back. i can't really dig the sharp EX they came out with either, which doesnt make sense cuz i generally dig pointy axes.

May i also add that i was in search for the 2011 model (Sperzels and Regular Emg's) but after playing this one (ESP locking Tuners and Het Set) i wound up digging it more. i was hung up on having sperzels, but the ESP Tuners work just as well IMO.

Re: New Axe

You could do a move where you get down on one knee, with the guitar pointed upwards, pivoting it on your leg in that rear notch on the axe. You would probably couple that with a rapid tongue flip.

haha ill give it a shot, i shall dub it the "dankstar"!!!

Congrats! Is it neck heavy?

Nope, perfectly balanced, doesnt go anywhere. that's the first thing i did before i bought it, strapped it on to check for neck dives.

Congrats bro! I'm usually a super duper purist when it comes to body shapes, but I think that looks good! Play the **** out of it.
