Hi there,

Finally I have joined a band! After playing alone for a long time.
The band is called ECHO-X and we play what they call classic rock. cheers.gif

Last friday we have recorded some songs with a microphone on a laptop.

Fun project!Sounds fun and needs time to get better!But the Mojo is there for shure!

We sure need time to get better. This is my first band and we jam together for nearly 2 months. And it's fun. and I improve every week.

Sure, we want to do some own songs, but that will need some time...:smokin:

That's the best logic you can have mate.Same here ,i get better everyday and i love to feel it!

Can we gig with this level of making music?
We wont be complete idiots if we go gigging somewhere?

I am up to anything (have fun and learn), but the drummer is a bit shy to perform.
And our singer isn't that good, unfortunately.

Ofcourse you can gig.At least in smll aprties and some Known audiance.that will help you to get self confidence ,and let you concentrate better on stage.
Shyness is not a problem.If you're on stage ,you become someone else!it's a show ,you don't have to be you !
It do not sound ripe for payed gigging!But things can change very fast!And even the singer can get better if he wants to!Just keep on practicing ,be positive but critical against each other ,and try to have small gigs!

Not great, but not bad either.

Hang in there. I've heard far worse at PAYING gigs.

Nice nod to "Sunshine" in the lead break on "Cocaine."
