New bass guitar = new riff idea

After 20 years, I finally laid my old Squire Bronco to rest and got a new bass: a 4 string Sterling SUB bass; love it.

Just in time, too, as I had a new riff to try it out on.

Levels are not set here, this is just a sketch. Key of D Phrygian/A Locrian. Enjoy.

Ha! Funny you should mention that as I am running I3 again tomorrow night, but this actually has more to do with a cool Steve Hackett song I was listening to, combined with the new Blind Guardian ... I kinda melded them together.

Between Rainbow and Maiden, you know I am on board with anything remotely Egyptian sounding.

Also funny that you should mention Rainbow, because I think the vibe is very Rainbow-ish.
