Anyone got to try em out yet? like the 59 bassman and the 65, the DN-2 dyna drive, ML-2 Metal core, FZ-5 fuzz... what do you think of em? the dyna and amp models seems pretty cool

Re: New Boss Pedals

I was playing at a gig a couple of days ago with a guy using the dyna drive . . . it was pretty average from what I remember, I wasn't too impressed.

Re: New Boss Pedals

Stil have not had a chance to check out these pedals, I'm really interested in the '65 pedal. I heard that the sound isn't on the money as far as the deluxe goes (no suprise there) but the reverb and the trem is great.

Re: New Boss Pedals

think of them more like overdrives with reverb and trem built in...i can't imagine anyone mistaking them for *any* real amp, though.

Re: New Boss Pedals

The DynaDrive disapointed me.

The Fuzz isn't as good as a bog standard Russian Muff BUT has more sounds.

The Metalcore however... WOW! Improves on EVERYTHING from the MT2. Thick, not buzzy, a bit darker... less control but it sounds WAY better. There is an absolutely INSANE amount of gain on it. More than I EVER heard. All the notes rang clear (and hell this coming from a Blackhawk (Schecter subdivision) cheapoaxe!!!)

Re: New Boss Pedals

I've heard that all the pedals use cosm (as in they are digital) including the dynadrive and metal core but i could be mistaken.

Re: New Boss Pedals

If for nothing else than collectability, I think I may get the deluxe reverb pedal.

Have some reverb and vibrato to play with for when the champion 600 gets here. I think they also have some amount of clean boost also, don't they?

Re: New Boss Pedals

I head the same, but there's no marking on the Dyna or Metalcore. I bet they are though, seems like Boss is going in the all digital direction. :( I still want to try the Fuzz out though, I'm a sucker for all fuzz.
