The Gibson/Valley Arts Brent Mason Signature model is still on the Valley Arts website. The PRS is brand new. I don't think you can have two companies make you a signature guitar; but I honestly don't know. I will have my wife ask his wife. They know each other (believe it or not).

Re: New Brent Mason PRS...

Jeff Beck is both a Fender and a Gibson endorser so I guess you can get away with it if the two guitars are very different from each other and neither company minds. I dunno!

That PRS doesn't look like a Brent Mason ax. I don't associate Brent with humbucker tones. I'll bet it's good though.

Makes sense Lew...

The PRS is like a new generation studio model for him. At least, that's what I'm getting from it. It's not meant to replace his Telecaster; it's meant to be "the other" Swiss Army Guitar.

Re: New Brent Mason PRS...

I love the maple necks on PRS guitars. They feel and play amazing.

If I had my choice of pickups, it'd probably have a nickel C/59 hybrid, mini hum neck, vol, tone, 3 way toggle.
