I'm not a vibrato pro either. I've just noticed when listening to my own playing and other amateurs' playing compared to the greats, the vibrato stands out the most.

I just calls 'em likes I hears 'em.

You are right in this point... I think it is one of the hardest technique, very fine and subtle. If you know how to use it can make a hole point in a melodic line... I like it a lot but I am so lazy to pratice it seriously, I just use it when ever I am playing.

So, I'll take the advice
