You can hear a Squier '51 with a GFS Liverpool, a Line6 Toneport (Bassman on the left and Blackface on the right), an MIM Jazz Bass trying its best to pretend its an upright and a good bit of the "Boom-Chuck" songset from Drums on Demand Vol. 4 (plus a few bits from other songsets).

You need just a little more reverb on the vocal.

Really? Seemed dripping in it already. Others keep telling me to bring the vocals up in the mix, but I don't like hearing myself that clearly.

i liked it ... very nicely crafted ... refreshing to hear something with such a genuine quality ... not formulaic ... i liked the 'going for it' quality

very nice use of frequency domain 'space' for each element too

Thanks! I've got half a dozen more rockabilly numbers in various stages of completion. the next nearest to being done is one called "Ain't That Enough" which, bizarrely enough, borrows a bit from Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life." But hell, if he didn't sue Jet, he won't sue me.

Glad you like it, man! Let me know how the mix sounds in your headphones or in your car. I've had trouble in the past with getting my mixes to translate well to other systems (due to my own poor skills more than the limitation of my monitors).
