New Duncan/Ibanez Pickups on 05' SZ series?

Hey,

Does anyone know what Duncan Designed Pickups are on the new 2005 SZ Series guitars? It would really help if I knew.

If anyone knows, please inform me please!

they are closest to the distortion (bridge) and 59 (neck). they have been slightly modified to fit ibanez specs. they sound really nice, i have tried them. just a note (because i don't think anyone mentioned it yet), the bridge pup has hex screws instead of slugs (and still has the flathead screws on the screw side).

To tell you the truth, I don't think the 05's are as hot as the previous sz pickups. I purchased a 2005 sz320 but returned it for a 2004 sz520.

Hey Guru. In my opinion, the bridge pickup is similar to a JB and will cover a broad range of sounds. The neck pickup reminds me of a 59.

I think the bridge is MORE versatile.
More open overall, more dynamic range, more adjustable...

More percussive, but that's neither here nor there.

The neck is kind ofa 59/Jazz combo.

THe split sound is SOOO aneimic, though.
Have to roll the tone back to overcome the super Piezoyness...
