New Eden's Way song, my best work since Seraphim

This song was done completely in my studio minus vocals. I don't like the solo tone but kept it so I can learn the solo I improv'd and then I'll redo it. Beautiful song with great solos and orchestration at the end!

I'd have to agree - this sounds pretty ****ed good! Can't get into the vocals really (is it just me, or is he flat most of the time? Maybe it's the nasal-ness of his voice), and a few spots in the mix could use a bit of fixing, but for the most part it sounds great!

Where do you have the treble/presence on your 5150?

VK: Yeah, his vocals I don't have experience with. The guy who usually does our albums knows what to do though so in the final stage of our actual album, it'll be fine. The flat sound is from one of the harmonies, reallly high. My presence was at 0. Sounds nasty to me when it's up.

I am not in to all that Christian music and stuff, but I thought your song was pretty good. The solo could use some work though. I would be happy to contribute a couple of ideas for that progression if you are interested.

Could be why the guitar sound is kinda muffled. I'd put your treble knob at around 4-5, and the presence knob just pointing at the top of the 8. Try that with the same mic position, and it'll probably be a lot more clear/present in the mix.

We have a graphics guy that sponsors us that does it. I couldn't figure out how to!

Ok VK and others, updated mix, all polished and pristine! Fixed the guitar tone as well.
