New Failed Grace Tune

Thanks Shredder. Thats a LP with a C-5 run into a Pod 2.0 on the blackface voice with everythin between 11 and 2 (oclock) dry, then run through my Rocktron racks, eq'ed hard and recorded on a Fostex VF-16.

Glad you liked it.

Nice hunk of Rock n Roll. Great riff. The singing is just perfect for that vibe, some nice old school pipes. Leads were killer.

Rock! Your guitar stuff reminds me of Michael Schenker a little. Sounds real big.
I like the harmonies too.

Are you sure that's a blackface amp setting? Sounds more like a hot rodded plexi.

Blackface with the gain and tone controls somewhere near noon, the reverb and effects are dry from the Pod. Remember, the tracks get EQ'ed at my recorder and the whole mix runs through a Dbx 31 band dual EQ and a BBE 486 (might be 482) as they get burnt down and the Pod gets run through both of my Rocktron rack units as well, so I have my way with the Pods tone a couple of times before you hear it.

The C-5 in the bridge of the LP I played on that tune gooses the gain a little as well.

nice tones and playing, kinda reminds me of old Pat Travers Band, are the guitars doubled or is that a delay?

Re: New Failed Grace Tune

Re: New Failed Grace Tune

Robert, you've got a killer voice for this type of music. Great, down-to-earth rock.

Its funny, the first 10 seconds reminds me a lot of Hendrix's Dolly Dagger. :;):
