new Fulltone drive pedal

Re: new Fulltone drive pedal

From what Mike Fuller says, it sounds like he's hit the nail on the head with this overdrive. He basically says it's the Mike Fuller signature OD, since he made it for himself. The only thing that bothers me about it is that I don't like OD pedals where a knob is that close to the switch, because my foot easily oversteps the button.
Other than the chincy box and logo, I'm sure the pedal is outstanding. Too bad he didn't make it cooler looking, like a one button Fulldrive II.

the sound clips are pretty good
well, Mike's a terrific player, but I agree - it seems like there's no pedal coloration, and the harmonics stay nice and rich

It seems like it would be a great studio tool

He should make an:Oppositional Defiant Delay pedal!

Re: new Fulltone drive pedal

Sometimes, those kinda pedals sound great just leaving them on all the time with a subtle setting, just to enrich the amp tone. Having met Mike, I'd consider him
Obsessive Compulsive in a good way. That's why his pedals are great.

I really liked all of the strat tones, but I didn't care for the SG through Marshall tones..It's probably not good trying to judge pedals over the computer and speakers...It's one huge reason that I don't spend time posting sound samples...

I use fuller's Mini Deja Vibe and liked his 69 pedal, but his Distortion Pro really sounded all bad and buzzy...I think he bombed pretty bad on the DP1...
