New G&L

I just played a few G&Ls, loved them and had a dealer order one to be built for me. The guitar is going to be SICK, but I have no way of looking at it or listing the specs to show people who ask me about it. Does anyone know of any websites or anything that has a way to customize a g&l (or even a fender cause they're almost identical) so i can show it to people?

Re: New G&L

G&Ls are great guitars! I have 15 of them, mostly the Legacy-bodied models, and an ASAT Deluxe. Absolutely no more Fenders for me.

Head over to the G&L Discussion Page at guitarsbyleo.com for info about G&Ls.

I'd love to hear what you got!

Re: New G&L

thanks for the site. i'm very excited about the guitar. here's the specs on what i ordered (it's gonna take a while cause they're building it for me :-\)

Legacy
Alder Body
Maple Neck/Fretboard with satin finish
3-tone sunburst with toroise pick guard
black pickup covers and volume knobs

aka sickest guitar ever

Re: New G&L

I like G&L's myself. While test driving an amp I picked up an HSS Legacy Tribute, ash body. There was a small problem with that.....I was paying more attention to the guitar after playing it for a minute than the amp that I went in to test drive in the first place. :smack: :laugh2:

For $499, that's one of the best feeling/playing guitars I ever laid my hands on.

Re: New G&L

Believe it or not, my 2 fattest sounding guitars....
57 Les Paul Custom Black Beauty with C-5/59
G&L Legacy Deluxe w/Gibson 498T/stock middle, Cool Rails.

I don't know how they get a basswood/maple veneer guitar to sound so big.
I guess that's the reason Suhr, Grosh, Anderson, and G&L are all doing the basswood/maple veneer. For a true strat sound, you're better off with alder, like you ordered though.
