It has got more bass response than the standard cable I got before

yeah and it got a cool name:

I can't really say that if that is a good or a bad cable just by looking at it, and I doubt if anyone can. I'd try some quality brand cable, or if you trust the people over there, get one of their selfmade ones. And do get the best cable you can afford!

You don't really need anything special for a speaker cable, as long as you DO NOT use a normal shielded guitar cable. Just regular 18 gauge lamp cord will do fine (can anyone covert 18 gauge to circular mils for our Brazilian friend?)

The fancy speaker cables like Monster are "nice to have", but can't really have much of an effect. (It's only 3 feet long, how much can it possibly help your tone?)

Just make sure it's large enough, and not shielded, and it will be OK.

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. All you need to do is find 2 1/4" plugs off an old crappy guitar cable, then use a 3 foot piece of one of those brown extension cords or a lamp cord. Solder it up, and use that, until you find a music store that has a better one. Those cheap extension cords are the same thing as speaker cable.

Re: New Gear 5150 + MARSHALL 1960 4X12 Pics!!

guitar center always says use speaker cable for speakers

guitar cable for guitars

don't mix em up, the signals and electronics are different...I have never heard any different and such cables are labeled as such as well.

my 2 cents...just wait and get one on ebay...
