New Gear Day Twofer: Cab & Speakers (Jet City/Celestion)...

I picked up a used JCA48ST because I wanted the matching cab for my JCA50H (unfortunately they don't make these cabs anymore...I don't believe a higher quality cab in its price range exists). I had read a lot about these and so I decided to upgrade the speakers (although, upon arrival, I actually found the stock speakers to be quite good!). I upgraded with a quad of V30's that had been pulled from an Orange 412 and were priced to sell (one of them has a different label so I doubt they're truly from the same cab). I am exceedingly happy with the end results though...this cab couldn't be more of a perfect match for the head. SUCH good tone!!!!

Love those v30s in a closed back cab. It just sounds like rock.

It did not...good thing for me I have no use for one anyway...haha.
