Hot off the truck

Very resonant. Neck profile feels like the Charvel ProMods. Gonna give it a few days to acclimate before adjusting anything. Board was flat when it got here and the tuning was out, but the nuts were tight. I figure by Sunday it oughta straighten itself out.

Congrats!! I love that guitar cuz of its history, but always thought Eds woulda looked better with a pointy headstock. I was wondering about the neck profile.. Pro mods is among my fave! Looks like that has the cam truss adjust too..
That come with the EVH pup? I think they all do dont they?

Haven't looked into the pickup yet. Haven't even plugged it in. Fine-tuned it a bit to try to get it somewhat playable, but no luck so far. Can't figure out the D-tuna either :lol:

Once it fully settles in I'll know more.


I'm not sure how vintage Dano necks were, but my Korean reissue 12-string had a baseball bat. This one feels like my SoCal.

They're basically pro mod neck profiles

I have d tunas on 2 guitars- honestly I hate them, you have to fine tune them before and performance

Both the Danelectro necks I've had (late 90's U2 and ...whatever the one Jimmy Page had was called) were teeny pencil-necks. Definitely smaller than the Squier strat I also had at the time. So these feel like "normal" necks? Hm, I wonder if I could get one of these and stick it on a Dano...

Don't know yet. I want to let the neck settle in for the weekend before I adjust any tension on it, including popping off the Floyd to check the pickup or tuning it. It'll get the Full Treatment come Monday :lol:
