If there's one thing I respect about Lynch, it's that he associates his name with good gear, not a bunch of trash like all the other metal players. I mean, cumon, if you're a nationally known guitar star, WHY would you endorse stuff like Crate, Randall, DOD, Samick, or something like that. At least he has the good taste to deal with Keeley, and not make some turd like Zakk did with MXR and Yngwie did with DOD.

Yeah, imagine if only someone had informed EVH that MXR stuff is crap, he may have had a decent guitar tone...

Perhaps those who endorse the above mentioned products actually do so because they like them.

Does any pedal that costs less than $400 (and either do very little to your tone, or border on being useless) qualify as crap?

jb from hell, while i understand what u mean about yngwie and zakk actually likeing the tone somewhat from those companies, but go ahead and try one of the yngwie or zakk pedals and u'll hear what sh*t sounds like and its not a pleasent thing, and i dont think gearjoneser meant that every pedal under 400 is crap rather, dod and mxr suck a*s
