That EB3 reissue is tempting me... Is it just me or does the Continental V look like a Tobias... (which Gibson has just moved off Musicyo onto its own page... a wise decision)

man if it wasnt for the goofy as hell headstock, the thunderbird studio would be extremely tempting

I hate the bird studios (nonth the guitar and bass), but I've always dug the full size bird. I also like the SG bass reissue a lot too.

full size? so you mean they changed things other than just the bridge and finish? in that case, i dont want one anymore :smack:

I think they are full size... but the Firebird should have a through neck and (in the case of the guitar) mini hbs. As for the guitar, once those things are changed, it's just like any other gibson (not bad, but the firebird is a unique guitar... not a paul or sg.) though the studios probably would appeal more to someone who wanted a "normal" guitar.

The body is a little smaller, same with the firebird studios. If you look at the pics you can tell because the neck looks longer on th studio than on the regular because of the smaller body.

i want to get a hold of a gibson grabber or ripper. there are a few on ebay, but i really want to get my hands on a grabber g-3. those sound so cool, and the looks of those basses are killer.
