Hello again guys, finally found me a new guitar. My original idea was a fender, but they just dont have the options im looking for. Found this guy on the bay a day before it ended, and knew it was the answer. With their reputation, i didnt need to play it. Got it on Friday, but architecture was literally kicking my butt (4 all nighters this past week). Put new strings on it (9-46) and set it up, plays like a dream. The floyd is only a charvel copy(the JTxxx whatever), and isnt as good as the Ibanez edge that i used to play on. May upgrade that to an original floyd (assuming that is possible, zerb?). So, what do you guys think? Not bad for $350 right? Oh yea, its a Model A plus, JB/screamin/screamin. I think i will replace the screamers for actual singles (A2Ps), i already have a neck HB in my Jackson.

Dude 350 for a model A is a great deal. They typically go for much, much more.

Nice pair of superstrats you got there. I'd go for a true single in the neck at least. It depends on how much you use the middle pickup. I love single coil neck tone.

I will definately be doing that. Thats the main reason i was looking at fender guitars. Single cleans in the neck just float my boat.. hahaahaha.. ive pulled 5 all nighters in one week so far :chairfall

Plus running middle/neck is good for shredd. (Depending on which pickups you get of course.)


That SLS is fantastic too. Finaly a jackson without an ugly headstock!

oh man, is that Jackson a neck though? It looks like this one I played at Guitar Center last year. BEST GUITAR I'VE EVER PLAYED

Yeah, its a neck-thru. The normal model is just a satin black finish, sometimes you will see an erie-dess swirl. The black and red flame tops were MF exclusives. I didnt care lol... had to have it. For some reason they were closing them out at $700.. the satin black ones are $950 everwhere, just ridiculous.

COngrats.

Yea, an OFR will retrofit just fine, but you´ll have a bit of a gap around it and for ideal performance you´ll want to use the OFR posts and bushings as well
