Sounds great phantasmagoria... you helped me out in my decision to buy the AHB 2 with this vid on a thread i had earlier in the week. I just got my AHB 2 in the mail this afternoon and cant wait to get it in there. A few questions though
did you do the 18v mod on this and did you toggle in the jumper as well.

Thanks man..that's cool that you got the AHB-2! No room in the control cavity for the 18V mod in my guitar so I did'nt try..
But I was told by someone from SD that it does'nt make much of a difference with the Blackouts ...nothing like with Emg's....so idk.
I'm pretty happy with the way they sound with just the 1 9v anyway. Yeah, I wired it to a push-pull pot (25k). There's a difference (sounds thicker, a bit deeper & more saturated) but nothing too radical or crazy..haha. Definately do wire it for the Boost though..it's worth the extra effort..
