those are ultrasonics arent they? ive been real curious about those for a good while now

Do they still make that model??
Or is it just an old one that never have seen any action?
My old teacher had a few of those;)
He stuck EMG's in those...yuck!
And then returned to classic stack and a JB later on..lol
They played rather well.

She's a real beauty. Is that an ebony fretboard? Looks very nice with the black hardware. Once you get some time with her give us a review.

It is indeed ebony!

The feel is smooth, dense (a softer dense, not like ash), and spanky. It's a really clean feeling guitar. The bridge pickup sounds great on chords...lots of definition to the individual notes, but on single-note lead-wanking it gets a bit single-coil-ish for my taste. The middle pickup is nothing special, and the neck pickup sounds really nice. Not sure if they're different pickups, or if it's just their positions.
